Bring Your Idea to Life in Glass

I love creating commissioned artwork that incorporates dichroic glass into mosaics. This remarkable material shifts through multiple colours depending on the light and viewing angle, producing stunning, iridescent effects.

Before starting a bespoke piece, we’ll discuss its size, style, and the colours of glass to be used. If you already have a location in mind, that too can be factored into the design. Blending different types of glass and colours — and capturing the play of light — is essential to bringing each creation to life.

I enjoy tackling new projects and have so far undertaken commissions for:

Jewellery
Memorial pieces
Interior artwork
Garden ornaments
Crosses, for both churches and homes

For larger works, such as church crosses or garden pillars, the cost of the backing structure and glass must be paid in advance and is non-refundable. Please note: large pieces are usually available for collection only.

Bespoke Crosses, Memorials & More

Creating large ecclesiastical crosses is my speciality and joy! Each project starts with a seasoned hardwood backing (cut to order) and is brought to life with carefully laid glass. I’ll send photos at each stage of the design, and nothing gets glued down until we’re both completely happy.

Memorial pieces are handled with sensitivity. I don’t share photos of these publicly, though you’ll find sample styles in this gallery. Families can bring me small keepsakes — a brooch, a pendant, a trinket with a story — which I can weave into a mosaic to create a lasting tribute. (Kindly, no diamonds or gold… I’d rather not need a security guard!).

For commissioned jewellery, you get to play designer: choose the colours of glass you love and help shape the final design.

And if your garden’s calling out for something special, I also create bespoke ornaments. My mosaic pillars are mounted on slate and tile, so they’re as durable as they are beautiful.
